I concur with John, when an aircraft goes over the recorder goes off. It us=

really upset me and I have had some great recordings ruined (as i am sure m=

of you have). Its usually about 6-8 minutes (sometimes longer) before that =

disappears. I always find thought that at certain times there are windows w=
here
very few planes are flying. Here in NS, that is usually between about 1am a=

loggers who like to sleep in! Last spring I managed a whole hour without hu=

noise, that was unusual though.
