Hi Scott--
I'd go with the lower cost cable and buy a spare at that price! :-)
Both have Neutrik XLR connectors and it looks like the less expensive
unit has a metal case 3.5mm plug compared to a plastic case 3.5mm
plug on the expensive one. There's a small chance that the soldering
could be sub-par but both sellers seem competent. 14" is pretty short
for general recording uses. Rob D.
