Chris. Find out the thread type of the camera mount for the tripod and buy a suitable matching nut from a hardware store. Drill a hole in the wooden bas= e of the PBB2N just a whisker smaller in diameter and a depth similar to the nut thickness. Now put a small amount of grease or vaseline on the nut thread. Apply a suitable adhesive, Araldite, to the sides of the hole in th= e base and push the nut in and let the Adhesive set. The grease is to stop an= y wayward Araldite from sticking to the nut thread.
