Hi Vicki,

That is an excellent point! Re: the time limitation of a cassette. I must a=
dmit, I hadn't thought of that. I guess I was thinking of using 90 min cass=
ettes. And, I would be using it attached to a bat detector, which would sup=
ply the audible sounds, etc.
I recently sold my trusty Olympus DS-30, and I'm now realizing how much I m=
iss it. That little recorder was great! And it was great for overnight reco=
rding (using the built in voice activation).
I sold it, so that I could buy a new Zoom H1 (for it's 96kHz sampling rate =
& nice mics). But, to be honest, I would've been better off just sticking w=
ith the Olympus. Digital Voice recorders are always getting a "bad rap".
I guess I should focus on getting an LS-10 in my future, I had been conside=
ring it for a while now.
