I added some circuits for powering ECM mics (such as the EM172) with phanto=
m
powered recorders. Some of these circuits I have used and some were found
floating around the Web.

Subject: [Nature Recordists] PIPS to Fostex

Hi - after reading lots of helpful stuff on here, I have just bought a
Fostex FR 2LE recorder.
And very good it seems so far. Only used it with NT1As so far.

If I was to build a stereo array using some EM172 mics - how would/could I
feed that to the Fostex?
Power/cable converters? I'm based in UK.

Thanks for any help.
