Inputs :
USB (previously called USB1.1); Line in (Mic/Optical/Analog); DC in 3V

In order to have line input levels you need a microphone preamp.=C2=A0 For =
mic level, you might get away with just a phantom power supply.=C2=A0 Is th=
is a single 3.5mm (1/8") input jack?=C2=A0 Being an older, no longer produc=
ed product makes it harder to get specific specifications.

For the price(s) involved with cables and power and preamps and all that ja=
zz, you might consider just upgrading to something like a Zoom H4n.=C2=A0 A=
ssuming an upgrade path, and not just bare minimums to get by.=C2=A0 Or som=
e grand goal, that might warrant going straight to the top of the line type=
gear.=C2=A0 Lots of options.=C2=A0 Beachtek, Juiced Link, and other lower =
end preamps to bridge the gap to camcorders could suit your device.=C2=A0 M=
ost of which depends on how good is good enough.=C2=A0 And of course budget=
.
