It is a bit steep, but the price probably includes shipping.=C2=A0 And what=
value do you place on your time (and gas) to acquire the parts and assembl=
e the unit.=C2=A0 But for the same cash you could get OTHER stuff of higher=
(resale) value, so it isn't cheap.=C2=A0 And if your unit already provides=
PIP, you're not gaining much.=C2=A0 But every little bit helps.=C2=A0 Ther=
e is no perfect fit for all situations.=C2=A0 If there was we wouldn't need=
to be discussing it, on an email list.

Anyway thanks to the person who measured the 6dB drop in highs with fake fu=
r.=C2=A0 That's led to some interesting experiments with past content of mi=
ne and EQ.=C2=A0 Still figuring out the best compromise for my setup, but i=
t's looking to be 3dB to 8dB to compensate in post for my fake fur.=C2=A0 W=
ithout it, marimba and vibes are otherwise silent instruments in the mix.=
=C2=A0 Which has always driven me a bit batty since they're technically the=
closest sound source to my mics, and have a high visual presence in the vi=
deo.
