Not that I'd recommend the Korg MR-1000 for portability.=C2=A0 But accordin= g to the spec sheet it says that 24/192 goes up the 40kHz and DSD goes up t= o 100kHz.=C2=A0 Probably more of a limitation of the preamps than the sampl= e rate.=C2=A0 The specs on my MM-1 preamps seem to suggest 10Hz-50kHz sensi= tivity, so it's more than just the mic(s). That's a pretty tall order to get off cheap IMO.=C2=A0 Although there are a= few manufacturers toting HD mics now that exceed the normal spec range of = 20Hz-20kHz.=C2=A0 Most of which are horrid in the noise specs.=C2=A0 And pr= icy.=C2=A0 Not to say that existing mics don't exceed that frequency range.= =C2=A0=C2=A0 But they weren't consciously designed with that in mind. - James --- On Mon, 9/6/10, Christine Hass <> wrote: |
