Reading my earlier post, I think I may have come off sounding a bit wounded=
. I'm not - I really just meant that a large number of newbies seems likely=
to give the impression that standards are being lowered when really they'v=
e just not yet been discovered by many of us.
The real culprit for declining standards, though, is the tradeoffs current =
technology forces us to make. Have more songs, or higher quality songs? Hav=
e clearer conversations, or faster web browsing or more battery life?
Once bandwidth expands to fit needs, it will sort itself out. Once the comp=
etition of quantity is gone, quality will return.
