Thanks for your opinion.

I suppose I should have it checked by Sennheiser, then. I hope it is not
going to be too expensive a repair.



In the meantime, I left the MKH30 powered on for a few hours yesterday,
and I did not hear the problem afterwards. I turned it off, on again,
several times, and heard no particular problem... I left it off for the
night and I'll test it again, under an identical setup later on today.

Hi Dominique,

I agree with umashankar. I had the same thing happen with a (new)
MKH20 and it was repaired under warranty.
