Hi I was curious if someone on the list has some recommendations for where I m= ight catch a dawn chorus in Upstate NY this weekend. In the recent past I h= ave headed for the Finger Lakes region which hosts some absolutely spectacu= lar choruses this time of year with alot of quiet spots to record, but I wo= uld not mind hearing about someplace new. Is it too early for the Adirondac= ks - is there a place there I should check out? I realize that recording spots are sometimes held sacred, so I will happily= take any recommendations off the air.
