http://soundofcritters.com/archives/1034 This is a short video of the Rycote windjammer in action just recently in t= he Mojave Desert. Winds were clocked at 17mph at times and the only really annoying sounds ar= e those blowing around the tripod. The obvious answer is to get the tripod = as low as possible in situations like these or protect your system with the= available surrounding shrubs. I got some really nice stuff in the desert. I was working on a TV project f= or next year. Recorder was the SD 788T Mics: MKH-40/30 in an MS pattern.
