Innovative Shotgun Microphone from SCHOEPS At the AES Convention in London, May 23rd =96 25th, 2010 SCHOEPS will intro= duce the SuperCMIT digital shotgun microphone, which uses an innovative pri= nciple of operation (two transducers and a DSP) and defines a completely ne= w category of directional microphone. With its moderate length, it still ha= s greater directivity than conventional shotgun microphones =96 even at low= frequencies =96 as well as an extraordinary ability to suppress pickup of = diffuse sound. It also features the transparent sound quality for which the= Schoeps CMIT 5 analog shotgun microphone is already well known. With the t= echnology used exclusively in the SuperCMIT, Schoeps has created the first = microphone that offers distinctly increased directivity without compromisin= g sound quality or signal-to-noise ratio. www.schoeps.de |
