Nino and Philip: Thanks very much=C2=A0for responding and=C2=A0for the great tips. Philip:=C2=A0 A person from Sound Devices sent me essentially the same note of caution ab= out unbalancing=C2=A0when connecting the MixPre to the D-50 using the XLR o= utputs, which left=C2=A0me a little confused because I'm still a newbie.=C2= =A0 Exactly how does=C2=A0one unbalance the output?=C2=A0 Does this mean th= ere is a=C2=A0special kind of XLR-to-3.5=C2=A0cable that I should=C2=A0use?= =C2=A0 Or=C2=A0does this mean that I have to first modify any XLR-to-3.5=C2= =A0cable I purchase? -Shirane=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 |
