Hi Paul Like Justin, I am using AT 4022's with my Fostex FR2LE and am very pleased with the results. They suit the low noise pre-amps and are lightweight and robust. Even in very quiet situations using a lot of input-gain the results are very acceptable. I mostly use them in a spaced omni pattern but sometimes use a barrier for increased separation. Good definition in bottom end with clear sharp mids and comfortable highs. Cheers Roger |
