Hi Debbie--
It needs good electrical contact and soldering is probably the
easiest fix if not the most reliable. Want to learn to solder? :-)
I'd be happy to "skype" along with you to "tack" the lead back on.
You need a 25-30 watt pencil style soldering iron, some solder and
possibly a pair of wire strippers. Rob D.
