Thanks all for all the suggestions.

I tried to be careful, but now I have another problem. In the process of
pencil eraser-sandpapering and blowing out the debris, when I was
putting the battery container back into the case, the yellow wire came
off. Now what do I do? I'm not sure which part it was attached to, and I
don't have a soldering gun.
