Well i also contacted my dealer and they say what i already expected. The c=
apsule/diaphragm in the mkh50 and 20 is in the same position, just behind t=
he metal protection shield/grating. The MKH has it's placed in the middle o=
f the slots at the end, you can see it when you hold it up to the light.
Furthermore they more or less said that as long as the mic's are reasonably=
alligned (within 0.5 cm) nothing is wrong. I will experiment a bit with it=
myself but i think we can rest assured that the vertical allignment is not=
the biggest issue.
