FINALLY SORTED!!
OK, I have just been onto Sennheiser UK again. This time I went one higher =
than the service department. The upshot of this was, that the original man =
I spoke to was brough to the phone in embarrassingly apologetic mode. He ad=
mitted that he had suffered a 'senior moment' and had been thinking of a co=
mpletely different microphone! The capsule (on the MKH-60)IS where common s=
ense says it should be, that is behind the first three slots of the interfe=
rence tube from the XLR end. I in turn apologise for having created a confu=
sion about this, but I hope that given the above explanation I am forgiven.
