Typically normalising routines within audio editing programs offer two choices - normalise to rms or normalise to peak amplitude. I am not familiar with avisoft as I write my own analysis programs in Matlab when needed, but if you are normalising to rms then you will find that peak values will not be similar. Normalising to a set max peak amplitude should give you the result you want. |
