Keeping recording system warm in cold temps?

Subject: Keeping recording system warm in cold temps?

Seeking advice:

I am recording dusk to dawn in unattended twelve hour long nightly
sessions, outdoors in a battery operated situation with temperatures
down to 10 degrees F. I keep my Edirol R-09HR recorder and Tekkeon
external battery pack in a tupperware box. I would like to have
something to keep my box and equipment temperatures warmer.

Can anyone recommend a method or product? ( Also, my recording site is
not near an electric line or outlet.)

Thanks in advance for your reply.
