Neutrik has CAD drwaings for all of their products. You just need to go to =
their website, then go to the exact type of connector you have and under th=
e right "Additional Info" sidebar they have Technical Info and Drawings. Th=
eir measurements seem to be complete and exact.

For example, click on this link for a common XLR connector: http://www.neut=
rik.com/fl/en/audio/210_411/NC3FX-B_detail.aspx

Then just click on the Drawing (PDF) and you will see the complete CAD drwa=
ing for that connector. The trick is knowing exactly what series of XLR you=
have, because Neutrik has a bunch and some of them have been discontinued.=
But I believe there is a section on their website that has discontinued co=
nnectors.

BTW, I am very curious how the CAD M179 mic works for you. I have been cons=
idering buying a pair to do some M-S and Blumlein nature recording. Please =
keep us posted about your results!
