Hi Paul--
Perhaps, after they are tested, they a grouped into different lots.
If we can prove that the performance of your units is substantially
poorer than other 3032's, AT should be happy to replace them. A
side-by-side high gain test with your units and a fully working one
might be necessary to get their attention. It can help to have
purchased the mics through a larger dealer but you could also contact
Audio Technica Support directly for suggestions after you have the
test in hand.
