Ian I had used Fostex FR2LE and FR2 and they both accept CF type 1 and 2. And, I use a type 1 card in my FR2LE. The only difference between the 'types' is the thickness of the card. The connection/ pin slots and their positioning are the same for both. If you have a type1 CF card, just insert it and start recording. There should not be any problem. Cheers Gopi |
