Are any of you "down under" people familiar with the New Zealand spring choruses? I'm off to record on Stewart Island in November for 14 days and thought i would utilise my time by exploring the south island. My starting location will be Christchurch. Any ideas on where to go, quiet areas, different biomes? I need to do some work on Stewart Island for at least 3 days. Should i drive down the west of the island and come back up the east? Many thanks in advance.
