<<I read on a nature recordists site, that the Sony ECM-MS957 is a good match for the Zoom H2. Does anyone have any experience with this combo?>> I've used various of the low cost Sony ECM series MS stereo mikes over a number of years & I find them always to be the weakest link in any recording chain. They tend to be noisy, lacking in low end response & not as perfectly mono compatible as the MS format can achieve. I haven't used this particular model, but I'm skeptical that any member of that series will provide satisfactory results. Scott Fraser |
