My experience has been that the internal mics of the Zoom H2 will serve you better than any inexpensive mic you plug into its microphone input, which is quite noisy. I recently compared the microphone input on the Zoom to my ancient Sony MZ-R37 minidisc recorder and the difference was shocking. I suspect the results of the internal mics would be considerably better than using an MS957 class external mic. Haven't tried it, but that's my suspicion. I find the internal mics to be pleasantly good. aaron -- quietamerican.org oneminutevacation.org 83% happy 9% disgusted 6% fearful 2% angry |
