Count me as another satisfied user of the porta-brace (for a 744, same  
form factor as the 722).  Just enough padding without adding much  
extra bulk and openings in all the right places.  I like the easy  
access to the rear panel, and you can attach a small case for a mixpre  
or 322 mixer to the front if you want.
