Mike, to further shed light on the common nomenclature, "blackbirds" in the= Americas refers to members of family Icteridae, including Red-wings, Yello= w-headed, tri-colored, etc.; In Eurasia the term "Blackbird" refers to a me= mber of the family Turdidae or true thrushes, like the American Robin, Turd= us migratorius, not to be confused with what's called the English or Europe= an Robin, a member of family Muscicapidae or Old World Flycatchers, and so = on......
