Sony PCM-D50 with MKH?

Hi folks,
I'm gearing up for a couple of extended remote recording trips in Hawaii in=
August, and consider my back-up gear a little thin. My usual set-up for mo=
bile (that is, on foot with backpack) field recording is SD 702 with either=
 SASS MKH20's or MKH30/40 mid-side, with Sony MZRH1 Hi-MD to use with Telin=
ga stereo when I want to run two systems simultaneously. I need a back-up r=
ecorder with plug-in-power for the MKH systems. I'm considering the Sony PC=
M-D50, but recall there may be a problem using it with the MKH mic's. I sea=
rched the archives for an answer but couldn't find what I need.

I also have a SD Mixpre and an Art Phantom II power suppy, but prefer to ke=
ep it simple as possible.

Can someone help here?

Thanks,
David
