Thanks to the ever-vigilant team at the Tapers Section forums, here is
information about two new audio recorders.
First is the Olympus LS-11, a revision of the popular LS-10. The LS-11 has 8
GB of internal flash memory, compared to 2 GB in the LS-10. Both recorders can
use SDHC cards up to 32 GB. Otherwise, the LS-11 appears to have minor
cosmetic differences from the LS-10. It remains to be seen if the pronounced
bass roll-off of the LS-10 is present in the LS-11.
MSRP for the LS-11 is $399, the same as the LS-10. I expect street price to
start near $300.

Second, Zoom has a new recorder called the Q3. It employs the X/Y mic
configuration from the Zoom H4n in a smaller package that is more easily
hand-held.
The Q3 is the first audio recorder that includes a video capture capability.
The Q3 records video in MPEG-4 SP format in 640x480 resolution up to 30 frames
per second. The video lens has a fixed focal length. You can use the Q3 to
record audio and video, or audio only.

I have not seen an announcement of price or availability for the Q3.
