Hi Robin,

I think that Rob is right when he says that the subjective noise level of t=
he LS-10 is not as good as the measurement figure of -122 dBu(A) would sugg=
est. The reason for this effect is that (unlike most other recorders) its n=
oise floor exhibits an unusual increase below 500 Hz (which is about 10 dB =
higher at 50 Hz). Unfortunately, this specific behavior cannot be represent=
ed by a single broad-band EIN measurement value.
