I use a pair of EM158's mounted inside cheap phillips ear bud headphones - =
The outside a silicone tube 3mm in height cut into a C shape is used which =
then holds the foam pad thats placed the wrong way around away from the mic=
capsule. It cuts wind noise better than the foam pad reversed and close to=
the mic and also helps with front imaging (slightly).
Three EM158's increase the signal level / output which in turn requires les=
s gain from the recorder which reduces the noise from the preamps by around=
2.8dB - but mounting those in the ear is a bit challenging :)
