Hello So now that I am interested in doing some longer term recordings with the Fostex, it seems impractical to write 32GB continuous files to the disc. This would be a nightmare to work with. The FR2LE does have a "maximum file size" setting, but unfortunately when max size is reached, *recording just stops*. From the manual: "During recording, the recorder automatically quits recording and stops if the file size reaches the maximum file size." Bummer. Can someone share some techniques for dealing with very large files once they have reached the computer? Is there a way to easily or automatically chop the file into manageable bits? Thanks David |
