Hi Phil,

Last year, I was so discouraged by the hum that I put the equipment away, 
thinking that perhaps I was doing something wrong. 

Instead, I should have contacted the company that sold me the ME67 and K6. They 
specialize in nature recording equipment and can probably help. Perhaps the 
microphone will need to go back for a wiring check.

I hope that I can get this problem solved: there are many wonderful birds here!
