before you=A0vote for=A0or against low=A0frequency filtering, consider this= . in many situations, the low frequencies are not intrusive when you are ther= e, but they become so in the recording. this is almost always because we listen at much higher volume than=A0 real = life levels. the ear's sensitivity to low frequencies is very low at low le= vels. when you boost recorded levels=A0 (during the recording, during proce= ssing, or in playback) low frequencies you could not hear earlier become au= dible. it is up to you to decide which is more acceptable, a theoretically flat fr= equencies response, or a correction=A0to accommodate the elevated playback. umashankar =A0i have published my poems. you can read (or buy) at http://stores.lulu.c= om/umashankar |
