The annual National Association of Broadcasters convention will be
held on April 18-23, 2009 in Las Vegas. The show exhibits feature
current products from just about every vendor of audio, video and
post-production gear. The exhibits area for the convention will be
open from April 20th through 23rd.
Admission to the exhibits usually costs $150. Coffey Sound of Los
Angeles is sponsoring passes to the show for people who join their
e-mail list. Visit their web site to sign up http://www.coffeysound.com
There are plenty of bargains in hotel accommodations and air
transportation to Las Vegas today. And the weather in April in Las
Vegas is usually nice. The winter rains will produce wonderful
displays of wildflowers in nearby desert areas.
There are several national parks within a few hours' drive of Las
Vegas, including Death Valley, Zion, Bryce Canyon, and, a little
farther away, Great Basin and Grand Canyon parks. Mojave National
Preserve, home of the "singing" Kelso Dunes and lots more remote and
quiet places, is also close to Las Vegas. April is a good time to visit.
