I just received my copy of "The Frogs and Toads of North America" by Lang E= lliot, Carl Gerhardt, and Carlos Davidson. It is wonderful, with fantastic photos and = text. I have not listened to the CD yet, but I will soon and report but can only think that = each recording will be about as good as it gets. Walter Knapp also reported on this book a few= days ago and I had preordered mine and it just came today. There are several excellent photos per species. The book is very large, wi= th great printing, and I hope the binding holds up. So this is a new state of the art reference that anyone who likes to listen= to or record herps should have It is available from Amazon. |
