A colleague of mine uses the KMR 81 & KMR 82 stereo shotguns extensively for film & video location recording, as well as concert documentation, with excellent results. His nature ambiences from Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe & Africa have exceptional detail & imaging. Scott Fraser Just to clarify , both the kmr81 & kmr82 are mono shotgun mics. Neumann do make the RSM191 stereo shotgun though and thats what I use despite it's short commings... (FYI: the mid shotgun in the RSM191 is the same capsule as the kmr81) Regards, Grant Finlay. http://grantfinlay.podomatic.com |
