Hi Wil,

Yes, that does help. Thanks for clarifying. 

A frequency analysis a louder section of the sounds in question
suggests the peak frequency is 12K.

Might you, being an insect sounds expert, have an opinion on John
Tudor's mystery? Bat or Insect?
