Anything having to do with soundscapes, their status, any recordist's  
ability to get to these resources to listen or record them, any  
potential policy on designated Federal or State wildlands (govmint or  
otherwise) that impedes our access or ability to discharge our  
righteous efforts, is legitimate fodder for discussion, whether it's a  
limited exchange between two communicators or 3 dozen. No one will be  
doing many Nature Recordings without them. I would add that it is,  
indeed, as direct a subject as one could possibly address.
