My recording rig (Fostex FR2-LE and ECM-55b mics)is certainly not the
very best gear out there, but has served me well, so far. I've been
happy with the results of the combination, up until this past weekend.
My cellphone is just an LG flip phone, and was definitely the culprit
of the interference. For a solution , I'll be remembering to just
simply turn off the phone before any recording, as the precious time
and opportunities I have to do this, are too valuable to take a chance
on ruining another recording.
