I think this is a crying shame! We are obviously losing our last wildernesses to on the one hand pure greed for money and on the other hand to dull hedonistic consumerism. The former is unfortunately widespread these days but only exists because it is sustained by the latter. I think if you sent those p*t smoking kids up the mountains to hike among the glorious Giant Sequoias they would find a far more mind blowing experience than they could ever have with their spliffs. I have to stress that I am not a total abstainer, but seeing one of my favourite places on earth being destroyed really gets me in some kind of rage.
