Yes, I believe that the LS-10 produces less noise at the higher gain
settings (close to 10).
The noise and sensitivity specifications of the ME66 and ME67
microphone heads are the same (noise: 10 dBA, sensitivity: 50 mV/Pa).
Though, the data sheets also indicate a relatively large variation of
the sensitivity of +-2.5 dB. This 5 dB range could also lead to
different experiences regarding the influence of the preamplifier noise.
