Cool, I have a pair of Schoeps omni's, extended to 40k, which I love,
and think it will be a blast to do some quad widely spaced recording
with both pair.

The Invision system looks even more cramped inside.

My big Rycote has adjustable rings that can slide pretty close
together, do you have an older one that doesn't adjust like that? You
could probably just get new inside parts. I think I can get mine as
close as a couple of inches, I can't remember. When the mics get here
next week I'll have a look and see if there would be a way to make
them fit.
