I use a foam screen intended for a Shure SM58; stretch it a bit and it fits over the front of the PMD620 just fine, even around the cradle. The downside is that it also covers the level meters. Since the SM58 and imitations thereof are very common, windscreens should be readily available at any music store; get the thickest screen you can find. The wind protection is not perfect, but reasonable for the price. I'm contemplating getting some fake fur material and conscripting a friend handy with needle and thread to make a "dead rat". > I am the new owner of the pmd620 and quite pleased with the unit.
