> The Tamrac Adventure 10 caught my eye. It is large enough to hold all > my required gear, except for the tripod. It does have a mesh pocket along the side at the bottom. What I have done with my pack (not this model) is to stuff the legs into this pocket and then use a strap at the top to attach to a handle or other attachment at the top. I don't see a spot on the Tamra Adventure 10 in the photo, but you might be able to use the shoulder strap or stitch in your own strap at the top. You just need to keep the top of the tripod from flopping around. The weight is all in the pocket.
