Thanks Alexia for this moment in time.

I liked the fact that you were able to describe the series of events
in your recording, it is something that is often lacking in my own
recordings since many times I cannot see what I'm recording, I have to
guess.

The background city ambiance does not bother me at all, I can hear it
but it is not intrusive to me.  Particularly with all of the activity
happening above.

My only recommendation would be to try to hide close by next time so
the subjects do not react to your presence, use the telescopic effect
of the dish to your advantage.  Behind a tree, bush etc.  You could
also set the parabola up on a tripod since the nest isn't going to
move, hit record during feeding time and take a walk, though make sure
your gain is set for the loudest possible sound.  When you get back
you will have an undisturbed nest recording.

I look forward to hearing more of one of my favorite animal subjects,
well done!
