I got it today and instantly fell in love with it! Small, with a "quality feeling", big display, easy menus, good mic inputs! Even wheels regulating the headphone output and recording level! Even two small loudspeakers, which are good enough to check that a recording has been made. Even the internal microphones are best for it's size - 10 mm. I guess the noise level is about 20 dB(A). Plug in power is enough to drive both the mic FET and a source follower, which means that one can feed the inputs with a low impedance. This would optimize the input noise of the LS-10 and allow long cables. If there is interest, I can supply optimized EM23 and EM21's for this miracle. A warning though - they will probably not work with other PIP inputs. Klas. Telinga Microphones, Botarbo, S-748 96 Tobo, Sweden. Phone & fax int + 295 310 01 email: website: www.telinga.com |
