building binaural mics out of bare capsules

Subject: building binaural mics out of bare capsules

Hello,

Apologies if this is OT. I have a pair of in-ear binaural microphones
from MicrophoneMadness (
http://www.microphonemadness.com/products/mmtrunathook.htm ) that I
would like to convert into regular lavaliere mics that I can attach to
different objects (like eyeglasses, hat, etc). I want to take the
capsules (Sennheiser MKE-2) out of the headphone frame and put them in
some kind of regular lavaliere encasing. Does anyone know if I can buy
such encasing? If I have to make my own, are there any recommendations
on what to use? Are the capsules usually protected with a cap? Is
there any online guide on how to do this (I haven't been able to find
one)?

Thanks!

Hector
